TONIGHT! Agape: back and better than ever. Once more in Damen MPR South at 7:30, we’ll be gathering for testimonies and small group Bible study.

ALSO TONIGHT! Sophomore Pie: post-Agape, meet outside the MPR. We’ll be Baker’s Square-bound for a mighty raucous evening. You’ve been warned. SOPHOMORES ONLY (EXCEPT FOR MIKE, CHRISTIAN, RACHEL, TYLER, WHO GET ALL THE PIES).

Saturday Night: Bro Night at the Bro-pollo (aka the Devon House). If you’s a bro, come out. Also, bring your fellow bros. Devon House, Saturday Night, 7:30 (1417 W Devon).

Sunday evening: Ecclesia, same bat-time, same bat-location (Palm Court, 7:30). Fr. Michael Moore bringing the heat, talking about your vocation as a friend.

Finally, a serious note, even if it is a bit out of tune- have a full week, friends. We love you and we pray for you. To reiterate the wise words from that great 4th year sage, Olivia Hedstrom: Work when you work; play when you play.

Take luck.

We were made for work. And rest……

So I want to encourage you to take a day or at least a 1/2 day for a Sabbath this week. God made us for work & for rest!

Tonight we are young. So let’s pray at United Prayer. Check out the pinned post here.

Wednesday night at Agape we are doing something special. We are joining up with Alliance 4 Awesomeness and brining in a speaker to talk about the connection between Harry Potter and Christianity! This is going to be legit! Damen MPR at 730pm!

Lastly, Ecclesia is back in the Palm Court this week. Tyler Ward is going to be preaching about our Vocation as Students. Bring your grandparents, friends, and cows.

Praying vs Panicing

This is the week when everyone is FREAKING out because of homework!  I invite you to pray instead of freak out.  God’s peace and Spirit will lead you through this week.  I am confident of that.

I am confident that the best way to navigate through stressful times is not to avoid regularly meeting, but instead to engage those opportunities because that is where God wants to minister to us and through us.

-Tonight is Tuesday night prayer at 930pm.  Check here to see where we are meeting.

-As usual Agape will meet at 730pm in Damen MPR.  I am loving my small group and hope you are as well.  If you haven’t joined us yet then please come on by and we will get you into a small group.
-Sunday is Ecclesia and we are starting our new series by looking a vocation.  I can’t promise I will tell you what to do with the rest of your life but I will promise it will be an essential time to consider the scope of your Christian vocation.
And…..

AND…..

CCC deadline is this week.  Sign up friends.  We want you to join us in building our church and growing in relationship with God.

Friends. WELCOME BACK!

Oh, we were so lonely without you here.  However, by God’s grace we did survive.  But now that you are back we want to see your God given faces.

Tonight at 7:30pm in Damen Agape is meeting.  Small groups getting real.

Sunday night at 7:30pm in the Palm Court will be Ecclesia.  A special guest preacher is preaching and it is going to be dynamite!

There are also some good fellowship things coming up.

Second week but we are second to none

This is what is up on the up and up

Agape: Wednesday (tonight) in the IES MPR (building attached to San Fran). This is our first night of getting into small groups which will give us the opportunity to know each other better.  And most importantly it will be a chance to hear from the Lord as we study Scripture.

Friday Night: BBQ at the Beach at 6pm!  Enough said.

Ecclesia: Sunday night in the Palm Court (4th floor Mundelein).  This will be our first worship service and we are going to start this year by looking at relationships (with each other and God). Per usual we will be celebrating in song, sacrament, prayer and fellowship.

Hope to see you there/then and we are praying for you as the year begins.
